AVG preventing internet access in child safe accounts

Hello Kyle. I am very sorry about that. This is a known issue and it's been happening lately. you can try uninstalling AVG firewall and also upgrading to Windows 10 would resolve this issue. Thank you.

I recently downloaded a free DVD player from CNET and learned my lesson with allowing express settings during the install. Spent hours fighting all my browsers hijacked to a yahoo start screen. Tried every recommendation I could find, finally downloaded AVG, scanned, and it found and took care of the threats. Couldn't be happier and I'm almost sold on using AVG past the trial as my regular antivirus…except, my kid's account set in family safety setting to "child" will not access the internet with Explorer or Chrome. Explorer freezes and Chrome gives an unexpecte_kernel_mode_trap message and restarts the computer. No other account is affected and when I set the kid's account from child to regular, problem solved. It seems now I must choose between using the family safety setting and using AVG. Is there a simple fix so I can have both? I'm running Windows 8.1 and AVG 2015
