AVG preventing Windows programs from working or opening files

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issue with AVG MyAccount and also AVG is blocking your application. Please share a screenshot of your AVG MyAccount subscription page (we will escalate this issue to our concern team and they will fix your AVG MyAccount issue) to assist you better. I see that you have purchased AVG Ultimate (1 year subscription) expires 6/5/2020. Regrading windows program is not opening, I request you to disable AVG components one by one (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > disable AVG components) and check which component is blocking your windows programs. Also let us know which windows programs you're trying to open. If possible please send us a screenshot of the windows programs. Geoff, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
