AVG Prevents PSE plugin from executing

I tried setting up an exception by selecting the plugin directory, the vendor directory in the hierarchy, and the plugin file itself. None of that worked. Can you help me find the correct directory or directories or files to set up the exception?

I selected the link you sent to upload the files for analysis. The instructions indicate that a maximum of 10MB in two 5MB files may be submitted. The files and folders for the Photoshop Elements 12 product have a total size of over 400MB.

What do you suggest?

I have a Perfectly Clear plugin for my Photoshop Elements 12 application that is prevented from executing by the Software Analyzer component of AVG. It will execute if I manually disable the component every time I want to run the plugin, but that is very tedious for editing images with PSE12.

How can I create an exception in AVG for the plugin to allow it to run without having to disable it manually every time?

I am running AVG on Windows Vista 64-bit.

It will best, if you send the sample of the exe files for analyse instead of complete folder.

We are happy to hear that you were able to add the correct folder to AVG exception list. Please do not worry, this will be resolved very soon and also you can send the sample of the Photoshop file to AVG https://www.avg.com/submit-sample. We will analyse the file and add this program to global whitelist.

Hello Thomas,

I am sorry to hear that photoshop application is being blocked by AVG. Please click on this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-exclude-file-folder-or-website-from-AVG-scanning for the steps to add the application file to AVG exception list, so it will not be blocked by AVG again.
