We are sorry to know that you keep getting the AVG pop-up. As you are using the free version, this pop-up cannot be stopped. However, we do have an option to change the frequency of the pop-up from AVG program. Since the promotion period ended (AVG Pro) a banner now appears, every time I access the current free version listing the benefits of the Pro version. This prevents any features on the installed free version being accessed. I click close on this and AVG free window closes completely.
Thank you for your reply, the issue here is that accessing the free interface has to be via zen and after this point the banner is blocking access to AVG free functions. It is not a pop up, it is now the face of the AVG free interface that opens at this point. I have tried your advise above ie: 2 Select Options and Advanced Settings, unfortunately the options given in this advise do not appear on the product, the only options are: MyAccount, Buy now, and About AVG. There is nothing in these options that relate to your advice.
