Thank you. I saw your reply to Bert Hammer on his XP question. For me too upgrading from XP to W8 or W10 is highly complex. I even looked at Microsoft process and services.
So I can find and use AVG Internet Security Version 18.8.3071. Plus I note your point about AVG TuneUp, but it has been working fine for several years. Which versions of AVG Secure VPN and AVG Password Protection can I add to my "bundle" ?
And is there any other AVG Product (version) I should add which will work on XP and give benefit.
Hi Anil.

I am getting confusing messages on which AVG products can be used on my windows XP desktop.
I have been using AVG PC Tune Up successfull for the last few years and it expired a few days ago. I have previously used AVG Internet Security on same computer. At present I have AVG Free Antivirus which gives Basic Protection (it says)
I found an AVG Bundle offer from an ebay reseller containing Internet Security, PC Tune Up, Password Protection and Secure VPN. One seller says they will work. Another says they wont.
Is anyone else using them with Windows XP. AVG themselves said the products are for only Windows 7, 8 and 10. But Free Antivirus does say it works on XP.
I would deeply appreciate anyone with experience / knowledge / a clear understanding clarifying this issue for me
Thank you. It seems that older AVG versions may work, but they will not update on XP.
I do have free space on hard disc and it is an Athlon X2 160 GB.
My microsoft is called Windows MCE2005. On start up it displays XP
I was using Avast until recently and was trying to install a more comprehensive protection and performance package
Yes, Anil.
You can install an older version of AVG Internet Security (18.8) on Windows XP.
You can also install AVG TuneUp on the Windows XP but the program will not receive any updates of bug fixes.
So we strongly recommend that you upgrade to latest version of Windows.
