AVG Program out of date message

Kevin,
Sorry for the trouble. We appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. Mostly this out of date issue will occur only when the update files gets corrupted and we need to reinstall AVG Internet Security completely to resolve it.

Go to Control Panel -> Programs and features -> Uninstall -> remove AVG Internet Security, restart your device and then use this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security to reinstall AVG Internet Security. We are here if you need any help. Thank you!

I am constantly getting the message that the AVG Program is Out Of Date.
When I click on the Update / Fix Now Button the app goes to the update screen
The app connects to the update server and looks for an update, but it only take about 1 second before reporting that the "Engine and Definitions: Already up to date (Current Version 180105-0)
After restarting the computer I receive the same message.
I have completed an application repair but still get the same message.
My next course of action will be to delete the program and then reinstall, however, i am reluctant to do this until i have explored any ideas from the forum
My license renewal data and subscription is valid until 02/01/19.
I have also had a number of emails from AVG saying i need to activate my License, but i have completed this several times.
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind Regards
KB
