Let's have a look at it together.
Reinstalling the product should fix the issue as it will reset your AVG software configuration. Run AVG clear tool to remove AVG Internet Security as mentioned in this article. Please click here for the instructions to install and activate AVG Internet Security. We sent you an e-mail inluding the activation code and if the e-mail is not found in your inbox, do check your spam/junk folders as well.

Hi. I am getting a prompt on the opening page for Internet Security saying  ! Protection is disabled. Protection will be automatically enabled after PC restart. All in red. There is a red box to the right that fix now but nothing happens when I click it. I have manually restarted the PC and I have done an additional scan and AVG restarted my computer but that same warning keeps coming up. I am not sure if my computer is  or is not protected or whats going on but something isn't right. Can  someone please help me resolve this issue. Thank you. Jim
