Hi,
I have "AVG Antivirusl Free Edition" installed, and I'm trying to run an application that uses "EO.WebBrowser" control (a component that makes custom Windows application act like a web browser). When I have "AVG Protection" turned on, I'm getting "channel disconnected" message from that custom application. The message goes away when I turn off AVG Protection. When I turn off all individual AVG components - Computer, Web, Identity, Email (my free edition doesn't include firewall) - I still get this error message. Adding an exception for this particular application doesn't help.
To sum up: AVG Protection blocks my application, but after turning off all individual components of this protection, my application is still blocked.
It looks like AVG is more than a sum of its parts. How can I run my app without giving up the whole "AVG Protection"?
Thanks
