Hi all
I recently renewed AVG Internet Security, which includes (of course) AV. protection and identity verification. Both these are continuing to be non-functional though installation and subsequent updates appear to have succeeded (message - Protection is up-to-date). I am concerned that since I had the 2013 version of the product, I bought the current version in good faith only to find it appears not to offer protection updates to a PC upgraded to Windows 10. The PC I am using originally ran Vista, then I updated it to Win7 and last July to Win 10. When I go online to ask for further help the FAQs seem to generally refer to Win7, XP etc.
If its relevant (I don't know whether it helps) the PC is an Acer Aspire 5920.
I have been trying for over a week to force further updates in the hope that sufficient backups will be loaded and incorporated so that protection will start functioning.
Does anyone have any suggestions/advice please?
Thanks

Hi Kishore
I have already done a repair reinstallation twice, so if I did it again I doubt very much it would work. So...what do I do now? Clearly the protection (antivirus database) and identity modules are both continuing to fail.
