AVG protection gives the error code: xe001003d every time i try to install it

I need help. Avg won't install Avg protection onto my laptop, every time I try it gets to 93% the fails giving the error code: xe001003d. I've tried reinstalling AVG onto my laptop only to have it still not work and even used the remover tool to remove any trace of AVG on my laptop. I need advice what to do next.

So this morning like I was told i turned off Windows Defender like I was told, but i keep getting a error message simular to the first one which is:0xE001003D and the message above it Specified file not found. Again ive tried reinstalling avg and completly removing it with the AVG remover tool.

James, With Win 10 Windows Defender is classified as an AntiVirus prog which can conflict with AVG so it's disabled when AVG is installed.
