Andrew, Try removing AVG by downloading & using the 32 or 64bit 2015 Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down], whichever suits your system. If you're not sure about 32 or 64 bit on your system have a look @ this link (http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218).

AVG Protection will not uninstall from Windows 10. Or corrupts network so the internet fails.
I have used a variety of AVG removal tools without success, resulting in a error code, even reinstalling the network driver after this, fails and I have no choice byut to do a system restore.

Hello Andrew. Thank you for your patience and I appreciate your efforts so far. I certainly understand your concern. I have sent you an email instruction to get connected with our technical support team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them and you should be able to resolve your issue.
Thanks for the response, I already had the 64bit version and have tried it. I did resolve the issue by uninstalling any programme that resembled a file checker, then managed to uninstall AVG in safe mode. Clearing the remainder of the files with a deep scanner uninstaller programme. Once done, reinstalling the other programmes made things settle down.
The network issue revealed itself by showing there were 2 filters installed, however nothing but the method I used, would remove the AVG one, without corruptin the whole file set.
Issue resolved, see above. Thanks for the support
