So I downloaded AVG protection 2017 for the free months trial, it worked well but I cancelled it before I had to pay the subscription fee, but now I'm trying to install McAfee and it can't install because I still have AVG on my laptop, I've tried everything to get rid of it, I've tried the AVG remover, the 2017 clear tool, none of them work, the clear tool brings up an error message saying I need to get the 2017 clear tool (even tho the 2017 clear tool is what I downloaded) why is it so difficult to get rid of AVG? It's worse than a virus
The tool doesn't even give me the option to restart, I get the error message straight away after opening the file
Thank you for submitting the log files.
Did you select and remove "AVG Web TuneUp" when it was detected by AVG removal tool?
I am sorry to hear that the AVG Protection still present in your computer. Please download and run the AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe
