"bash" tried to access the "AVGHUB" folder on my mac. AVG stopped it from doing that. What is bash and is it harmful?

Upon checking them, we see that AVG's Ransomware protection has blocked Bash from accessing few files which were protected by Ransomware shield.
As bash is a legitimate file of MAC, we can allow it to access the protected folders. You can follow the steps that are mentioned below 'manage Ransomware protection & Add allowed apps' in this article to add bash to trusted app.
