The possible reason could be due to network profile chosen for your internet connection in AVG Firewall.
If it was chosen as public, then most of the communication to and from your PC will be blocked.
We request you to refer this article and follow the steps as mentioned under 'Define Network profiles',
Check the network profile and if it was set as public, do change it to private and check the status.

Hi all,
Question already asked, but issue still present.
As soon as AVG Inernet Security is installed on one of our PC's, everything works fine for some hours, then, suddenly and without reason, AVG blocks the connections to internet and to the other PC's.
To solve the problem, I have to de-activate AVG (from the toolbar), then re-activate it, and then everything comes back to normal… for some hours.
Have you also experienced such an issue?
What could be the parameters that are not correct?
