AVG 'Relaunch Browser'

Hi Jan/AVG
I understand that I have followed your instructions of 8 March 2015 and also followed the instructions given to Mirza Prangon. My problem persists.
I guess that the problem lies with AVG Web Tune Up. AVG Web Tune Up shows in the program listing but can't be uninstalled. AVG Web Tune Up doesn't appear as an extension in Chrome. AVG Web Tune Up shows in Program Files (X86) but can't be deleted due to 'being open in another program'.
Hopeing for a solution!!  Cheers / Carl

I am having the same issue. The AVG web security settings has been going for hours. And I have work to do and can't rid of the window. I've downloaded the .exe file and sent in the issue. How long before a reply/fix is returned? Thanks.

I'm getting the same issue.

Have just send the diagnostic you mentioned earlier + screenshot .

Many thanks

Keith

I'm also having this issue. I've downloaded the diagnostic & sent the file(s). Then it says it was unable to send but that it saved to a fileserver & needs the name. I have the name, but what do i do with it for you guys to find it & help me through this?

Hi Carl,

I'm sorry to hear this is happening. I'd like to ask you for AVG log files for closer analysis. Please download and run this http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe, briefly describe the situation, include link to this conversation and send it. Specialists will contact you on your e-mail after analysis.

Thanks

My screen displays an AVG instruction ~ please click 'Relaunch Browsers' to apply your security settings. Upon following instruction, a sub-screen(?) in the RHS Bottom corner displays a scrowling series of bars (progress expression) which just continues in a 'loop'. The sub-screen instructs 'to wait"; 12 hours plus and sub- screen persists. A re-boot does not remove sub-screen which occupies about 20% of the total laptop screen area. I have reinstalled AVG 2015 and still sub-screen persists. How do I remove this subscreen? Please excuse my termonology!  Cheers / Carl

Hello Keith. Thank you for sending us with the diagnostic information. We will analyze it and get back to you with a resolution via email. Please wait for email from AVG and I appreciate your patience.

Hi Carl,
Did you send diagnostic output, because I can't find it in our system.
Thanks

Hello Carl. We would request you to "Send" instead of saving the output on your computer. Thank you.

Hello Kevin. Please have a look at this article http://avgclick.me/uploadtoftpserver
