We are sorry to know that. To fix this issue, we suggest you to run AVG cleaner and this is different from the remover. Please follow the steps to download and run AVG cleaner:
Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing AVG 2017 and its traces.
Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability)
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"

Tried to update AVG but it froze. Tried to uninstall but it froze.
Ran AVG remover but it crashes on restart.
Ran it again. It said it couldn't find any AVG product to uninstall but would I like to run it anyway, I said yes. This time I saw the windows system pop up telling me I had no anti-virus protection but it still crashed on restart.
AVG sill running in Task Manager.
AVGSvc.exe and avgui.exe are still running.
How do I uninstall AVG?

AVG Clear seems to be getting stuck.
When I start the program is just sits on the first screen with the blue progress bar sliding side to side but never does anything else. It's been doing it for an hour now.

AVG Clean still doesn't run.
Every time I boot now I'm getting this error.
The top pop up comes first, then the bottom one.
