Once you run the remover, please do not restart your computer.  Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.

Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability)
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Then click "Restart computer"

I can't unistall avg. I tried uninstalling because after the recent update my Windows kept freezing.
I believe windows.exe was the one freezing, then then entire system froze altogether.
I had to turn off protection to stop the freezing.

I ran the removal tool, but my FW interfered. I had to re-run after a restart. The problem was that I couldn't turn off protection to stop the freezing because the icon to stop it was removed. This means i cant run the tool in normal mode. I tried running in safe mode, but I can't restart in safe-mode.

I got a log its several lines log so i included the first 5 and last 5 copy pasted below:

NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
