I understand how upsetting this could be. Did you login to AVG with your AVG MyAccount email address and password to finish the activation? If not, please follow the steps in the link below to complete the activation.

If you are already logged in, please logout and log back in as suggested below:
1. Please open AVG dashboard and click on your email address at top right corner.
2. Then select Leave this network option and confirm it by clicking on Leave button.
3. Click Connect at the top-right of the screen, then click Log into an existing account.
4. Type your email address and the password you created for your AVG My Account during the purchase, then click Log In.
I renewed AVG on 29th September and paid £24.99 by credit card. However - the new HP computer seems not to recognise this and flags up a message that renewal is now due. Please advise how to bring this computer up to date with my AVG protection.
