Hi Adrian,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please share us the screenshot of the message about which you're concerned for better clarity.
Since yesterday, AVG Free has been reporting that my PC is not secured. I've tried both repairing it and reinstalling (which solved the problem last time it happened), but it hasn't worked this time.
Is this a general bug with the program following a recent update, or is it just me having this issue?
System spec:
Dell Optiplex 780
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.2 GHz
4GB Ram
1TB HDD
Nvidia GT710 2GB
Windows XP Pro x64 Edition SP2

Hi,
For some reason, I'm not able to upload the screenshot. I've tried two different computers, running both XP and Windows 10, but on both of them, when I get the pop-up window for uploading the image, the browser freezes and I have to close the browser. And it doesn't seem to be browser-specific, as I've tried both Chrome and Firefox with the same result on both.
So I'll have to just try and describe it for now...
The AVG icon by the clock in the status bar has a red circle with white "X" in it over the top of it. If I hover the mouse pointer over it, a small white box pops up saying "AVG AntiVirus: WARNING, your system is UNSECURED". But, if I open AVG, it tells me that I'm fully protected.
I hope that's enough for you to know what's happening.
