Sorry to hear about the message you get about the network cable. Please confirm if you are able to go online though you see the error message. Also check if you see any error for the network drivers. To check that, right click on My computer->properties->Device manager[from left panel]->Expand the network adapter. After using AVG Rescue Disk I have lost my network connection. Computer reports that the network cable is unplugged but it is plugged in fine. I have changed the cable but still get the same message. Has any one got fix?
