Please share us the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the restart message you receive.

Try AVG repair avgclick.me/RepairAVG and check if that fix the issue.

Why do I keep getting a message that AVG needs to restart my computer? I restart it then a short while later I get the same message again.  I have had this problem before.
