AVG says I am running Avast, but I am not

Hello Ton,

Please check if you have removed all the traces of Avast in C: drive, Program data and program files. Repair AVG Antivirus free from the control panel and restart your PC to check the status.

Avast was deleted from my system in November, no other antivrius running. However AVG indicates that Avast is running, so AVG runs in passive modus. It is also says my system is protected. I did not notice this before, did not pay attention to the pop-up. Using AVG free. I am mixed up… Version 18.1.3044; definitions version 180220-0
