AVG Scanning and repairing drive (D): stuck at 10%

Hi,

I decided to try the AVG PC TuneUp and launched a deep disk scan for my 2 hard drives. I have an SSD (260 gb used) + HDD (nearly 450 GB used), both have 700 GB space used in total. Currently, it's been stuck at 10% on disk D (HDD) for 4.5 hours. It doesn't look like my PC froze as well.
How long do you recall it may take to finish the checkup of both drives? Or should I already start worrying? I am aware that aborting this process is bad for my laptop.

Hi Nathalie,

Not to worry, we can work together to sort this out. Running disk defragmentation for 700GB disk space will take few days to complete the scan. And it is also not necessary to run disk scan for SSD drive. If you wish you can abort the scan and start a new scan from All functions and uncheck SSD then run the scan (Open AVG PC Tune Up > All Functions > Disk Defragmentation > Automatic/Fast) by this way scanning the disks will be a little faster than normal scan. And I also hope aborting the scan won't affect any of your files.
