Scanning my Win 10 PC, the AVG display box does not report results.

The progress description is stuck on Browser. It's been like this for several iterations of AVG.
Anyone know what's going on?

My build is 21.9.3209 (build 21.9.6698.699).
The scan itself appears to work. It is the text update on the AVG interface that stalls.
But perhaps I am being impatient? When I came back to it much later, it had updated the text.
Perhaps I should wait longer?
