AVG screen for security settings is always running

AVG Secure Search is installed because I can use it to search and there are icons at the bottom of that Search screen which among them are Facebook, Amazon etc. I restarted the computer and now a screen asking to update AVG settings appears, I selected the option that I never wanted to be reminded because, if I click O.K. it will show the next screen "Please wait and… it's a vicious circle. Needless to say that it's pretty annoying.   Thank you

Have you installed AVG Secure search in your browser?The message is related to installing AVG Secure Search features, which includes a toolbar for your browser. You can restart the computer, if the message seems not to be disappearing after the AVG Toolbar installation is obviously finished. If the issue persists, please get back to us with the screen shot of the error message. Thank you.

The screen with the following message: "Please wait while AVG applies your security settings…until the process is complete" is always running it never ends. How can I get rid of it?
