AVG Secure Browser and Task Manager

In general, I like AVG Secure Browser.  After using it several or more times during sessions on my computer I notice my computer slows down tremendously.  I checked Windows Task Manager to see which processes could be slowing things down and was surprised to find a high count of instances of AVG Secure Browser listed as tasks loaded and consuming memory.

What is going on and how can I avoid this issue of consuming resources when AVG Secure Browser is not intentionally an active task?  It's a pain killing tasks when this happens and is the only thing that frustrates me while using AVG Secure Browser.  This does not happen while using Chrome or Internet Explorer.  Even though I like AVG Secure Browser, with the exception of the issue I'm having, I'm considering going back to using Chrome.  I hope you can help out.  Thank you!

Hi Richard,

This isn't the experience we want you to have. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
As we're uncertain about the exact resources consumed by Secure browser, would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of the Task manager page displaying the CPU consumption?
