Hi Delli,
Thank you for your prompt reply!
I have since managed to locate the source of this fault:
Apparently, every time I select ‘About’ in settings to manually update my AVG browser, it creates a new numbered File Folder in both ‘Application’ & ‘Temp’ Folders?
Dozens of them located( 300-600mb )each.
So, I have cleaned out both of these folders, and will simply let auto-update run from now on, as a scheduled task.
This action appears to have had no effect on browser operation, and it has negated the necessity for a reset/uninstall .
However, installed program is still listed as: 3.81 GB; that seems a little high for a browser?
Thank you for your assistance!
Blessings,
Mark.
Dear Support,
Re AVG Secure Browser Version: 106.0.19080.169.
This is eating up OS disc space; 'Temp Folder' has grown to: 7.61 GB & 'Application Folder': 6.13 GB.
Both of these folders are growing in size everyday?
Plus the installed program is now: 3.81 GB; is that correct?
What would cause this?
If I uninstall & reinstall, what is to prevent this fault from recurring?
Thank You,
Mark W
