I have a folder 'Browser' at the following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Browser. Three folders in that directory - Application, Crash Reports, and Update.
I don't have AVG Secure Browser in the list under 'Programs and Features'.

Hello Gil,
Please accept our sincere apologies. We'll look into this & help you.
Navigate to the below path & check if you can locate a folder named 'AVG Secure Browser' or 'Browser':
C Drive > Program files or Program filesx86 > AVG > AVG Secure Browser/Browser.
Also, open the control panel & check if you can locate AVG Secure Browser under the 'Programs and Features' section.
Thanks in advance. Keep us updated.
Running Windows 10
AVG ver. 20.10.3157 - build 20.10.5824.618
Since Dec 17, 2020, every time I reboot my laptop, AVG Secure Browser automatically opens a web search page with a button asking if I want to set it as my default browser.
I deleted AVG Secure Browser via the Start Menu on Dec 17 when AVG update appears to have installed it without asking me. I have full admin rights on the laptop in question.
If I have to download the Secure Browser Removal Tool to get rid of this browser, I am going to be uninstalling AVG as well, and telling everyone in my FB and Twitter timelines why I am uninstalling it. This is ridiculous.
Any suggestions?
When you install the AVG AntiVirus, the checkbox for AVG Secure Browser will be checked default.
AVG products will never get installed with user's consent.
Are you able to delete those files manually?
If you get any error, kindly share us the screenshot of it.
