AVG Secure Browser, Private Mode

I understand that you wish to disable the Private Mode Window in AVG Secure Browser. To do that open the Security & Privacy Center. The Security & Privacy Center is a console of tools and features that allow you to manage your online activity.

Most features are enabled by default to offer our highest level of security and privacy. Via the Security & Privacy Center, you can personalize AVG Secure Browser by manually enabling or disabling certain features. You can also access tools such as Private Mode, Privacy Cleaner, and Hack Check :

  • To access the Security & Privacy Center:
  • Open AVG Secure Browser, then click the blue  Security & Privacy Center icon to the right of the address bar.

Hello Syed,

Thank you for your prompt reply to my query.

Unfortunately, as far I can observe, the Security & Privacy Center only allows the user to launch (open) a Private Mode window but not to disable access to such Private Mode window option.

For clarification, I like my children NOT to have the option of browsing without out a trail.

Kindly detail the required procedure to disable access to Private Mode.

Hi,

I would like to disable the Private Mode Window option in the AVG Secure Browser (running in MS Windows 11 Home). I am familiar with the Registry Editor and have sucessfully disabled the InPrivate option in MS Edge. Hoping the procedure is similar for the AVG Secure Browser, please advise. Thank you.
