We'd like to clarify that if you've saved the bookmarks in chrome browser before uninstaling the AVG Secure browser then it can be retrieved.

I recently un-installed AVG Secure browser and selected the option to KEEP my bookmarks (data) .
Now I want to re-install AVG Secure Browser but there does not seem to be a way of re-installing my bookmarks which were saved when I uninstalled it using the correct AVG uninstall method.
How do I get my book marks back please?

My name is Jovana and I'm with AVG senior support.
Please note that upon uninstallation of AVG Secure Browser you are displayed with the following window:
As you can see the option "Also delete your browsing data" is selected by default.
To keep your browsing data, you had to de-select this option, and then upon installation, the bookmarks would be there as they were before.
If you don't have the bookmarks already present, after your reinstalled AVG Secure browser, then it is most likely you left the option selected, which removed all your browsing data.
Also, note that there is no way to retrieve your bookmarks, unless you had them stored in another browser too, in which case you can use the above-mentioned guide to import your browsing data.
