AVG Secure Browser with Roboform

I use the Roboform password manager with my AVG browser. Until recently, both have served me well. But now, Roboform doesn't recognise certain input fields (my name and address, usually) on only a few web pages. Roboform support is generally very responsive to problems such as this, but in this instance they are saying I should use a different browser because "the AVG browser is like a sandbox application and does not allow for full connection to it".

Has anybody else encountered this problem, and is there a solution that will enable me to continue using both AVG and RF?
