And also check if you are able to access the same link(s) in other browser.
I recently renewed my subscription to AVG Internet Security. At that time I was given the option of also installing free AVG Secure Browser, which I accepted. This became problematic when every time I tried to connect to the internet through a link on my E-mail, AVG Security Browser did not respond and I had to reset the thing before it would allow the link to open. I thought that I had got rid of the thing by using the AVG "trash" facility, but it remained on my list of active programs… All that happened then was that when I tried to open a link to the internet in my E-mail, I got a message saying that the "application was not found". I then attempted to use the "unistall" facility on my windows PC. It looked like I had uninstalled the thing. The "application was not found".message continueed. I then uninstalled AVG Internet Security and repurchased it. This time I did not accept the AVG Security Browser option. The same inability to open links to the internet remains with the "application was not found" message still happening. How do I fix this?
