AVG secure browser

Hi Bill,

We will check this for you.

Now AVG tells me to simply uninstall their bowser in order to use my other browsers again.  But Chrome does not work now thanks to AVG— Will it automatically start working after I uninstall the AVG browser?  If not, I will have no browser on my computer at all and will not be able to access the internet to download a workable browser.

AVG disabled my other browsers on my computer simply because I did not "opt out" of downloading their browser when downloading AVG Free.  Ironically, it looks like their browser is a virus in itself  and now we have an anti virus program spreading viruses!!!  If AVG does not tell me explicitly how to fix my other browsers, I will be going on Facebook and Twitter to tell all my friends and contacts about what a scam AVG is running.

I removed AVG entirely from my computer a couple of days ago.  Nothing changed.

There is nothing to take a screen shot of.  If I click on my Crome browser icon, nothing happens.  Same with my Edge browser icon.  I even installed Firefox to see if it would work.  I doesn't.  The only browser that now will work on my computer is AVG.  What AVG is doing is absolutly disgusting.

This isn't the experience we want you to have, Bill.
From your message, it seems that the issue isn't caused by AVG. Reason being, AVG Secure browser doesn't have the ability to control other browsers.
Also, as uninstalling AVG doesn't make any change, it is evident that the issue would be with the browsers itself.
Please restart your computer once (if you've not restarted) & check. If issue persists, you may need to reinstall the browsers.

We are sorry to hear this.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

This isn' the expected behaviour. We request you to uninstall the browser and reinstall it. Then check for the issue again.

Did you get any message when you try to access the Chrome?

Keep us posted.

Thank you for the information.

We understand your concern.
