The recent AVG internet security update today, has settled the problem.
I am sure that the above problem was the previous AVG update but all is well at the moment
5th time of entering this
Since the recent AVG Internet Security update I am informed that I do not have authority to open AVG secure Browser
i reran AVG tuneup and could find nothing odd
When I went to desktop and tried secure browser it works
I underswtand nothing

Please let us know if you've made any recent changes using your AVG TuneUp (changes such as putting the background applications to sleep).
If you have, your AVG Secure Browser program might've been put to sleep. Refer to this article to awaken the programs that were put to sleep by AVG TuneUp.
If the issue still persists after awakening the AVG Secure Browser, we recommend reinstalling the AVG Secure Browser once & check if you're able to access it.

The 5 times was all at the same visit, going round and round the web page.
These are written by bods who can and enter all the questions they can think of but not the questions I wish to ask.

Once you've uninstalled your AVG Secure Browser from Safe Mode, reinstall it and check if the issue persists.
