AVG Secure Browser is compatible across all bit versions and doesn't cause any delay while surfing the internet.
Did you check with alternate browsers and verify the status with the netspeed?

I recently purchased AVG secure browser, I've noticed it is 32bit my PC is 64bit, will this cause issues because when browsing the internet it is very slow, i tested my broadband test speed is always around 75mb.
