Avg secure vpn blocks access to the internet

With AVG Secure VPN installed, I often canno access the internet, when i can it is slow and connections are often rejected by the website based on incorrect location though the location should be correct. It certainly protects me from the internet1t
I am running windows 7 on a 64-bit machine.

Could you please try connecting from a different VPN location and check again?
Also please do try using a different VPN protocol and try again.
Open AVG Secure VPN ☰ Menu ▸ Settings ▸ VPN protocols. 
Try changing to a different protocol and try connecting to VPN again.

i have tried different uk locations which did not help. i will try with a different protoco later today.

I also find that all the avg products take minutes to respond when i click their icon - if at all.
I have uninstalled and re-inistalled all of them.

Try changing to a different protocol (try mimic)
Changing the protocol should help.
Also check to disable the location services of your browser
To know about it refer checking real location is hidden
