You have bought AVG Secure VPN for Mac - 24 Months and it is valid till 14th October 2020.
Open AVG Secure VPN window and select Account from the left panel to open your AVG MyAccount settings, and click Activate.
If you get the window, check whether you have any option as to "enter code for activation".
Purchased, downloaded and installed AVG VPN for MAC - however when tried to select ON button to turn VPN on it kept going to OFF and redirecting me to purchase AVG VPN. Shut computer down hoping that would right things, but same difficulties. Attempted to download and install again this morning but said it had already been installed and that I would need to de-install first download. Have left it as is and did not attempt to download or install again.
The other issue I have is that when I check my order history it confirms that I have purchased the AVG VPN for MAC but alongside the order it has download in blue writing and when I select download it takes me to a page that does not have a secure lock (as the lock as a cross through it, with the message this may not be secure and possible it someone else could be impersonating AVG.
Also went to do a scan of my computer for viruses/trojans etc and the page indicated I am File, Web and Email Shield protected.
The main reason why I purchased the AVG VPN is because when I was doing a routine SCAN I was informed that a Trojan had been quarantined. A few days earlier I received a FAX via efax and opened a PDF file which only showed lines and brought up another version of Adobe Reader. So now I am thinking my Adobe is now infected, as my PDF files look very different to how they used to look.
Your help would be appreciated.
