This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
Try connecting to the other locations in the AVG Secure VPN and check if the issue persists.

Since February 2019 I have a two years subscription to AVG secure VPN.  Everything worked perfectly till yesterday .  I cannot connect to the internet anymore when the AVG secure VPN is switched on. When I switch it off internet is working correctly. What could be the reason ?
