AVG Secure VPN prevents internet access

I worked with Windows 11 and AVG Secure VPN Version 23.10.10704 very reliably for a long time.
All of a sudden the VPN prevents any access to the internet. Error message (after quite some time) "No access to ipage …)", not even AVG support can be accessed. If I switch off the VPN everything works perfectly again. Is the cause probaly the new Microsoft update for Windows? I have tried to "repair" the Secure VPN without success. Is there an updated version of AVG Secure VPN? Should I "deinstall" the VPN and install it again? Help would be welcome.

  • May I know if you updated windows recently? If yes, please check reinstalling the program as windows update could have altered program files. Re-install the program after restarting your computer post uninstallation.
  • May I know if you receive any error message in AVG Secure VPN or in the browser webpages? If yes, please help us with screenshot of the error message
  • Do you have any other VPN program installed?
