I have 400 MBit connection but when I turn on AVG Secure VPN browsing the internet gets so slow that it is not really usable. Normal web pages take at least 5 seconds. Usally they load instantly. I tried all the proposals of your troube-shooting guide but nothing helped. Any idea how to make AVG Secure VPN usable. Or do I need to buy some other VPN solution that is working as expected (fast).

I have seen the same problem. I think AVG is having real issues with VPN. I can notice the speed diff with / without VPN turned on. I expected AVG to be a lot better
Yes, I am having the same problem. It seems to have started or become worse after the last software update several days ago.
The VPN has become useless on iPhone and my laptop it sometimes is good, other times it blocks sites. It appears AVG is not testing the updates. Sad
