AVG Service making PC unusable for hours

We understand that you are facing issue with AVG after startup and you are not able to start your browser.
We are really sorry to know this. We'll certainly check and help you out.
Could you please let us know if you have updated AVG? if not, we suggest you to update and check.
To manually update AVG AntiVirus, you can: Open AVG AntiVirus 
-Select the Menu icon, then Settings 
-Select General in the left panel 
-Click Update 
-In the application section, click Check for updates 
-Wait for AVG to check for updates 
-When the update is complete, you'll see a message that AVG AntiVirus is up to date 
-If prompted, click Restart now to reboot your PC.
Also, alternately, we suggest you to disable individual AVG components and check again to see which shield causes this issue, please follow the steps in this article: | AVG  (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=disable-avg-antivirus )
Also, we suggest you to repair and check again: Right-click the Windows Start button and select Apps and Features from the menu that appears. Click AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE, and select Uninstall twice. If prompted by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes. When the AVG Setup window appears, click Repair.
Please do try the above steps and check again.

My PC on starting from sleep mode is almost always licked up by AVG for a while, byt today AVG service gas been going for 5 hours and I still can’t start any browser
