I've been waiting 3 hours whilst the green bar tells me its applying the security settings to my toshiba laptop. My question is…if this requires minimum spec shouldnt avg let its customers know before asking them to update its settings?

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to resolve the issue by uninstalling and re-installing avg, following advice from a friend.
