Hello,
Thanks so much, everyone!
In Windows 7 Explorer, I right-clicked on the SHORTCUT Download Folder under Favorites. I chose "Shred with AVG," and it not only removed all the old downloads, but it made the shortcut folder in-operable. Worse, it seems to have deleted my ORIGINAL download folder under the C drive, Users, Dell Optiplex 960.
Creating another folder and calling it "Download" did nothing. When I download new things, they do not go into the new folder.
I've tried Windows support and AVG tech support, but since my paid version expired last year, tech sent me to the community. I am not tech savvy, cannot do programming. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it! -Linda
Hello Linda,
I understand that you are unable to save downloaded files to new "Download" folder on your computer. Please check the browser settings and see if that the download location is set to your new download folder. If not, please update the same and check if that fix the issue.
