AVG Shred Deletes what Shortcuts Point to, not Shortcuts!

I recently tried to shred my recent documents shortcuts-- instead of deleting the shortcut links like Windows does (sends them to Recycle Bin) they deleted all of the recent documents I was working on. I have no idea what I lost in that mess. Perhaps make AVG Shred a bit smarter…
