I recently deleted a file on my desktop for the purpose of reinstalling it. When deleting this file, I shredded the file using AVG shredder. Now, when I try and reinstall the file, it does not install the file on my desktop. Is this because of AVG, or something else?
Denzel, yes, I am aware of these.
However, AVG Shredder will not stop an application from installing.
This seems to be strange.
To further analyse this issue, I suggest you to uninstall AVG protection from your computer control panel and check if you are able to install RobloxPlayer.
Lol. Really?
Welp. The application is called RobloxPlayer. It's an application that allows you to launch games from the website called Roblox.
Hello Denzel,
Thank you for reaching us with your concerns. May I know if the issue is resolved when AVG protection is disabled? Right click on AVG system tray icon and toggle the On/Off slider to disable AVG protection.
Regards,
Alok.

Denzel, download a new installer of RobloxPlayer to your desktop and check if you are able to install this application.

No, it did not work, but I searched my file through "This PC" and I found two copies; One copy was a shortcut to the old application, but it has no icon. The other was stored at this location: C:\ProgramData\Avg\Antivirus\Cache\InstallLocation. I tried deleting both files, but when I tried to delete the one stored in AVG, it came up with a File Access Denied error. Do you think this would help?
