AVG Shredder Not Responding

I am trying to shred a video from my THUMB drive. An error message appears: THIS ACTION CANNOT BE COMPLETED BECAUSE THE FILE IS OPEN IN AVG WATCHDOG.  Never got this before. I am able to shred other documents.
