AVG Shredder not showing in the Windows Context Menu box

I have renewed my subscription today for AVG Internet Security to expired in 10/2027.

I downloaded the new version and activated my subscription. But now the AVG Data Shredder is not showing in the Windows Context Menu as it did before I renewed the subcription.

I have checked the box in the ‘Data Shredder’ menu to add the shredder to the Windows Context Menu, but it does not appear in the Context Menu when I try to use it.

I unchecked the box and did a restart……it was not there. Then I checked the box again, did a restart and it is still not there.

So the question is how do I get the Data Shredder it to appear in the Windows Context Menu so I can use it.

I’m having the same problem, which started today. Went to shred the recycle bin files, only to find the option had randomly disappeared.

I removed AVG using AVG Clear, reinstalled, restarted… still missing.

The Context Menu option in AVG is enabled, so I can’t see any reason for it not to be there.

Such a stupid problem, most likely with a very easy fix that AVG doesn’t seem to be doing anything about.

My data shredder is visible but I keep getting this error. I have tried repairing which works once then it doesn’t again. Annoying.
