I just got a new samsung high end laptop.  I installed AVG on it and it won't allow me to connect to the internet…sometimes it does, but it pulls a page that says "site cannot be found", the proceeds to the page.  OR it says "no internet connection" and then proceeds to the page.  Sometimes it won't go to the page at all.  I have AVG on my PC too and have no problems.  I've changed to "Private" from public and enabled firewall settings.  The only difference I can tell is my computer didn't have an anti-virus pre-installed…the laptop had mcafee…which i uninstalled and combed through for leftover files.  I'm at my wits end.  Does anyone know how to resolve this?
