I was promised a E-mail from AVG twice as I was top priority. I am still waiting. Microsoft tried to resolve the issue but failed but at least they tried. Their advice remove AVG. I have tried this but no improvement as Laptop still has a very slow start up.
To clarify when I press the power button you can hear the cd drive briefly. The power and hard drive light illuminate briefly but then the hard drive light goes off. The computer screen remains blank. About five minutes later the start up sequence begins and the samsung logo appears

I went on holiday on the 26th so needed my computer for boarding passes etc hence the delay
contacting your remote technician as i did not want or need any more grief before my holiday.
After another frustrating delay today waiting for my computer to boot up I contacted your remote technician and they updated Zen-No change. Removed then reinstalled AVG Zen- no difference. Checked out the DVD drive-No difference.
To clarify I had a working laptop until I installed Zen. Since loading Zen something has changed in the start up sequence so I have to wait approx 5 mins before I have a working laptop. I do not have a windows 10 disk to reload windows 10 as it was a upgrade from windows 8. AVG tune up deleted all of my restore points so I have reinstalled windows 10 via the laptop option previously. No change.
I installed my new AVG internet security and then my problems began. I decided to try the PC tune up and scan but somehow this has affected my laptop. I left my laptop being scanned by AVG when I returned the laptop would not turn on. I contacted AVG and I was promised a quick response. I am still waiting.
I found that if I left the laptop for approx 5 mins it would eventually start booting up. I have tried everything to resolve this even reinstalling windows 10. Microsoft have also tried to resolve this but still no result. Their Engineers advice do not use AVG. Has anyone else had this problem if so how did you cure this problem? I have wasted two days of my life trying to cure this problem.

We are sorry to know that you are faced issues after using AVG program.
Do you mean that you still face issue with PC even after reinstalling the Operating System?
