Hello Tim, I also had problems with avg zen so I uninstalled it and all works well now. Zen seems to be a worthless object and the Web Tuneup within Zen was far more trouble than it was worth.
Unfortunately to uninstal Zen you will have to uninstal some (all ?) other avg products first and the re-instal the ones you want, this being a real pain in the butt.  You do not need Zen at all in my experience.   philip white

AVG zen has caused issues with my laptop booting up.  It now takes five minutes from pressing the power button for the start up sequence to commence.  I have tried everything to cure this including a complete reinstall of windows 10.  AVG contacted still waiting for a response.  Microsoft have tried to repair but failed.
